What is Micro-TESE?
Microdissection testicular sperm extraction (microTESE) is a surgical procedure used to retrieve sperm from men with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), a condition where no sperm is found in the ejaculate due to impaired sperm production. Performed under a microscope, microTESE allows a surgeon to identify and extract sperm-producing tissue with high precision, increasing the chances of sperm retrieval while minimizing testicular damage. The extracted sperm can then be used for in-vitro fertilization (IVF) with intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI). MicroTESE is a highly effective technique for men with severe infertility, offering hope for biological fatherhood when other methods fail.

Micro-TESE is a fine microsurgical procedure where entire testis is searched for sperms.
When do we need Micro-TESE
MicroTESE is indicated for men with non-obstructive azoospermia (NOA), a condition where the testes produce little or no sperm due to genetic, hormonal, or unknown causes. It is recommended when conventional sperm retrieval methods like fine-needle aspiration or standard TESE have failed, as microTESE offers a higher success rate in finding viable sperm.
Additionally, microTESE is suitable for men with testicular failure due to prior chemotherapy, radiation, or certain medical conditions like Klinefelter syndrome. It is also considered for those with elevated FSH levels and small testes. By using microscopic precision, microTESE maximizes the sperm retrieval chances.
We are world leaders in micro-TESE with experience of 300+ procedures.

Micro-TESE requires a lot of expertise, and only a few centers offer the procedure of Micro-TESE for their patients.
Micro-TESE is the last hope for those with Azoospermia
With micro-TESE we can find the sperm even if there are handful of them in the testis.
